ARFD may back current leader in exchange for proposal approval

PanARMENIAN.Net – ARF Dashnaktsutyun has voiced readiness to back the
current president Serzh Sargsyan in the upcoming elections if the
latter accepts the party’s proposal.
`Frankly speaking, the ruling authorities have the most chances to
accept the 7-point offer and pledge to struggle for systematic changes
by separating the businesses and disbanding the monopoly,’ ARFD member
Artsvik Minasyan told a press conference.
As political expert Yervand Bozoyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter,
by issuing the statement the party shows that core changes are more
important than individuals.
ARFD met with Prosperous Armenia party to discuss full shifts to
proportional voting system and parliamentary system of government
prior to issuing the statement on possibility of backing the current
leader.
