Public Libraries In Yerevan To Be Provided With Wifi

PUBLIC LIBRARIES IN YEREVAN TO BE PROVIDED WITH WIFI

All libraries in the Armenian capital are set to be provided with the
WiFi system in the coming days, said Yerevan City Technology Center
Director Sargis Manukyan, as quoted by Armenpress.

At present, only the George Byron Library is supplied with WiFi. The
rest 11 libraries in Yerevan are also expected to have it.

“‘The project aims to enable people who are fond of reading to
have multiple opportunities for receiving information [in public
libraries],” said Manukyan.

Such a suggestion was first made to Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan by
one of library directors in September.
