Turkey was no option for me – Aras Ozbilis

I chose the national team of Armenia because I consider myself to be
an Armenian, national squad and Russia’s FC Kuban of Krasnodar
midfielder Aras Ozbilis stated.

`Turkey was not an option for me. I had to choose between the national
teams of Armenia and Holland.

When I was playing at [FC] Ajax [of Amsterdam], they invited me to the
Dutch national youth team, but I chose Armenia’s national squad. I
made that decision with my heart. I decided to play for Armenia’s team
because I consider myself to be an Armenian.

We are in a difficult group in the [2014] World Cup [Brazil]
qualifying stage, but we can fight for a qualification,’ 22-year-old
Aras Ozbilis told Sportbox.
