ARMENIAN UNIVERSITIES SHOULD EXPAND – GOVERNMENT MEMBER

YEREVAN. – The process of enlarging Armenia’s state-run institutions
of higher learning should commence next year, Education and Science
Minister Armen Ashotyan said during Thursday’s Cabinet meeting.

“It is an inevitable process. It’s just that a political decision needs
to be made one day, since [otherwise] it will cause speculations and
amateur views,” Ashotyan noted.

But in the Education and Science Minister’s words, the universities’
joining process must be based on serious analyses.
