85 FACTS OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING ARE REVEALED IN AZERBAIJAN

85 facts of human trafficking were revealed in Azerbaijan as a result
of operations conducted in the 10 months of 2012. Azerbaijani Press
Agency informs about this referring to the annual report submitted
by Azerbaijan’s National Coordinator for Combating Human Trafficking
Vilayat Eyvazov to the Azerbaijani Parliament.

2 facts of forced labor were revealed in the reporting period. Two
organized gangs and six criminal groups were rendered harmless. 20 were
detained over these illegal actions, 3 of the wanted were detained.

10 persons were sentenced from 5 up to 10 years in prison over the
human trafficking crimes.
