SWISS MPS VISIT NAGORNO-KARABAKH

STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) President Bako
Sahakyan on Thursday received a group of deputies and businessmen
from Switzerland.

Matters concerning the development of NKR-Switzerland ties and the
implementation of a variety of Swiss-assisted projects in Karabakh
were discussed during the meeting, Central Information Department of
the Office of the NKR President informs.

President Sahakyan stressed that strengthening relations with
Switzerland is among the key issues in NKR’s foreign policy, and
added that a substantial progress in this domain is already tangible.

In this context, Bako Sahakyan also pointed to the role of the Armenian
diaspora considering it among the primary factors contributing to
the development of Karabakh’s cooperation with numerous countries.

NKR National Assembly Speaker Ashot Ghulyan, philanthropist Levon
Hayrapetyan, and several other officials likewise attended this
meeting.
