Verdict on Vardan Ayvazyan Should Be Regulated by Armenian Legislation

The Hraparak paper writes in regard to the conflict between Vardan
Ayvazyan, MP, head of the Economic Committee and Global Gold
Corporation, that Armenia and the U.S. have never signed an agreement
regulating the subject matter so the U.S. court decision can’t be
valid in Armenia.

The newspaper tried to find out what the verdicts of U.S. courts may
result in for Armenian citizens. The U.S. embassy relayed that the
issue of recognition and implementation of the verdict of the New York
Court on Vardan Ayvazyan should be settled in accordance with the
Armenian legislation.
