Hraparak: Vardan Ghukasyan’s daughter to be fired as school director

Rumors are circulating in Gyumri that former mayor Vardan Ghukasyan’s
daughter, Manya Ghukasyan, will be fired soon as director of
Nikoghayos Tigranyan Art School, Hraparak writes.

Manya was appointed to this position 5 years ago, when she was 22 and
had just graduated from the Pedagogical University. Her appointment
caused big noise in Gyumri due to Manya’s having no musical education.
But the noise calmed down soon out of fear for the Ghukasyans, the
paper writes.

Hraparak contacted Vardan Ghukasyan’s spokesperson for a comment.
Lilit Aghekyan noted that she no longer works at Mayor’s Office and
added that she doesn’t have such information.
