PanARMENIAN.Net – Market research in the field of procurement
of medicines by State Commission for the Protection of Economic
Competition of Armenia has revealed cases of anti-competitive
agreements, with several companies fined.

Natali Pharm, a major distributor of medicaments in Armenia, was
fined AMD 50 mln.

The damage inflicted on the state budget as a result of the violation
of public procurement process totaled AMD 1,5 bn. With 134 hospitals
and 300 companies inspected, the study revealed that 134 health
institutions purchased about 100 medicines without competitive bidding.
