Hungarian Cardinal voices his support to Armenians

Hungarian Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church, Primate of Hungary
Peter Erdo in the letter to Catholicos of Armenia Karekin II voiced
his support to the Armenian people in connection with the extradition
of Azerbaijani officer Ramil Safarov and his pardoning by the
president of Azerbaijan.

According to Holy See press release, Cardinal Erdo also condemned
violence and hatred against people for their ethnic belonging.

Secretary General of the World Council of Churches Olav Tveit too
voiced his indignation on behalf of WCC and 349 member churches.
