PROTEST VIGIL OUTSIDE CONSULATE OF HUNGARY IN YEREVAN

A protest vigil is taking place outside the Consulate of Hungary in
Yerevan in Zakian Street, a Panorama.am correspondent reports.

Though predominantly young, protesters include older and middle-aged
people as well. They are holding placards saying – Shame, The Criminal
should be Punished, We Demand Justice as well as posters of Gurgen
Margaryan and Ramil Safarov. Safarov is depicted with a pig snout
and ears.

The protesters demand a deserved punishment for Ramil Safarov who
axed Armenian officer Gurgen Margaryan on February 19, 2004.
