NO TICKET LEFT TO YEREVAN-ALEPPO FLIGHT

YEREVAN, AUGUST 29, ARMENPRESS: After Syrian well-known events over
1900 Syrian Armenians have arrived Armenia. The Chief of Staff of
the Ministry of Diaspora and the leader of the group dealing with the
issues of Syrian Armenians Firdus Zaqayan highlighted in his interview
with Armenpress that the last group of Syrian Armenians having their
rest in Hanqavan will head to Syria on September 4.

Zaqaryan assures that the majority of Syrian Armenians is going
back to Syria. The prove is that all Yerevan-Aleppo tickets are
exhausted. Academic year in Syria begins on 16 September. In result
of clashes between opposition and Governmental forces in Syria more
than ten Armenians have died and two of whom were soldiers of Syrian
Army. During the last period representatives of Armenian community of
Syria also began to leave the country. The applications submitted from
Syria by our compatriots are being envisaged by accelerated procedure,
at least within ten days. 41 families consisting of 76 members have
applied to migration service of Armenia in order to get shelter and
already 27 families have got temporary habitations.
