Armenian Ambassador to the Czech Republic Tigran Seyranyan had a
meeting with Czech Minister of Culture Alena Hanakova.

During the meeting the parties discussed a wide range of issues related
to Armenian-Czech cooperation in the field of culture, particularly
organization of culture days, exhibitions and festivals.

Underlining that Armenia and the Czech Republic are countries with
an ancient and rich culture, the Ambassador noted that the existence
of diplomatic missions in the capitals open new perspectives for
expansion and development of cultural ties.

The interlocutors attached importance to the Agreement on Cooperation
in the spheres of culture, education, science, youth affairs and sport
signed between the Governments of Armenia and the Czech Republic on
December 10.

From: Emil Lazarian | Ararat NewsPress

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
