We favor change of PM – Prosperous Armenia Party Spokesperson

YEREVAN. – We underscore the upcoming local government elections
because they are the state’s inseparable limbs, Prosperous Armenia
Party (PAP) Spokesperson and MP Tigran Urikhanyan stated during a
press conference on Saturday.

`Our position with respect the Government head and program has not
changed. We favor a change of the head of the Government [that is, of
PM Tigran Sargsyan], he noted.

In the Spokesperson’s words, PAP proposes programs and
solutions – including human resources – with advantages.

`I welcome those who support [us]. [Gyumri city mayoral candidate] Mr.
[Samvel] Balasanyan is a PAP member, [and] that says it all,
Urikhanyan noted, and added that PAP regularly cooperates with
constructive political forces.

`Come the opportune moment, we will speak about [next year’s]
presidential elections [, too],’ he also remarked.

To note, PAP has nominated Samvel Balasanyan as mayoral candidate in
Gyumri, and – PAP’s former coalition government partner – ruling
Republican Party likewise is supporting his candidacy.
