YEREVAN: ARMENIAN EMBASSY IN DAMASCUS OPERATES IN THE ORDINARY WORKING COURSE

The Armenian Embassy in Damascus operates in the ordinary working
course, Tigran Balayan, Spokesperson of the Armenian Foreign Ministry,
told ArmInfo’s correspondent.

At the moment the issue of redeployment of the diplomatic mission in
Damascus is not being considered. To note, on August 4 the Armenian
onsulate in Aleppo was moved to the Armenian-populated district
of Aleppo to provide the consular services in a safer and more
efficient way.

According to the Syrian mass media, the governmental troops have
managed to get the capital of Syria under their control almost
completely.
