ARMAVIA READY TO PROVIDE ANOTHER FLIGHT TO SYRIA AND SELL TICKETS FOR A MERE SONG IN CASE OF THE GOVERNMENT SUPPORT

Armavia airline is ready to announce a second flight to Syria if
it enlists the support of the Government and Diaspora Ministry of
Armenia in the given issue, Armavia press-service reported.

In case of the government support, tickets will be sold for a mere
song as it was during the domestic political crisis in Lebanon when
Lebanese Armenians were immigrating to Armenia.

Almost twofold increase in the price of Aleppo-Yerevan-Aleppo tickets
aroused discontent of the Armenians in Syria who were picketing the
Armavia Administrative Office on July 25.

To recall, Armavia has lately announced two new flights Yerevan-
Amritsar -Yerevan and Yerevan- Birmingham-Yerevan.
