VNESHECONOMBANK MAY GRANT ARMENIA LOAN

Roscosmos may request Vnesheconombank to grant Armenia credit for
the geostationary communication satellite launch, Roscosmos Chief
Vladimir Popovkin said, RIA Novosti reports.

The memorandum signed at the FARNBOROUGH Airshow (UK) in July says
that Armenia needs own communication satellite. Armenia wants to
launch it before 2016.

The satellite will have a capacity of 50-60 transponders. Popovkin
noted that further details are a commercial secret so far.
