NUMBER OF ARMENIANS SUFFERED FROM FLOOD IN RUSSIAN KUBAN BEING CLARIFIED

Currently the lists of Armenians who suffered from the flooding in
Russian Kuban are being clarified, the representativeof the Union of
the Armenians in Russia Vazgen Nersisyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to him, humanitarian aid continues to arrive from different
regions of Russia. Also the lists of suffered Armenians are being
clarified.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, the July 7 flood inundated
close to 5,000 homes in the Russian Krasnodar region three cities and
several villages. The natural disaster claimed almost 180 lives and
affected more than 12,000 people. There are Armenians identified among
flood victims. July 9 has been declared a National Day of Mourning
for the victims of the devastating flood in Russia.
