ARMENIAN PM DISMISSES KOTAYK HEAD

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan dismissed Levon Mikaelyan,
deputy head of Kotayk regional administration, according to the
presidential decree of May 6, 1997, Aysor reports.

Mikaelyan was caught receiving a bribe of $97 from a school director
on July 13. The National Security Service said that the official was
regularly demanding bribes from school directors in order for them
to avoid inspections and problems.
