ARMENIAN DM BRIEFS THE MINSK GROUP CO-CHAIRS ON THE SITUATION AT THE LINE OF CONTACT

Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan received the Co-Chairs of
the OSCE Minsk Group Robert Bradtke, Igor Popov and Jacques Faure.

Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk
was present at the meeting.

The parties discussed the process of settlement of the Karabakh
conflict. At the request of the Co-Chairs, the Armenian Defense
Minister presented the current situation at the line of contact.

He referred to the escalation of tension, the frequent violations of
the ceasefire regime, attaching importance to the implementation of
confidence-building measures.
