Alexander Minasyan: Parliament should take control of TV air quality

For a long time no one has worked towards promotion of national
thinking in television, political scientist, founder of Monte
Melkonyan Military Academy, Alexander Minasyan told a news conference
in Yerevan.

According to him, Armenian TV companies only think about increasing
their profits; there is no censorship, no professionals, quality is
disregarded.

Armenian government should strictly control TV air, and even limit
some freedoms if necessary, he stressed.

`What we need today is not freedom but control. The National Assembly
should take control of TV air quality,’ Minasyan concluded.
