Diaspora Minister Of Armenia Receives World Bank’s Expert Group

DIASPORA MINISTER OF ARMENIA RECEIVES WORLD BANK’S EXPERT GROUP

YEREVAN, JUNE 28, ARMENPRESS: Diaspora Minister of Armenia Hranush
Hakobyan received World Bank’s expert group June 28, Diaspora Ministry
press service told Armenpress.

The goal of the visit of the expert group was to make research
on improvement of entrepreneurship in Armenia, in particular, on
Diaspora’s involvedness and role in that sphere.

During the meeting Mrs Hakobyan presented the programs and works
implemented by the Diaspora Ministry in that sphere. The Minister
stressed that Diaspora has 80% involvedness in 4500 medium-sized
enterprises working in Armenia.

Hranush Hakobyan noted that participation of the Diaspora-Armenians
in entrepreneurship will increase in case of correct propaganda. She
also attached importance to the support of international structures
in assessment of Diaspora’s needs and elaboration of programs meeting
those needs by the state.
