AZERBAIJAN’S FOREIGN TRADE TOPS $14.4BN

The foreign trade of Azerbaijan made $14,409,000,000 in January-May
2012.

According to sources in the State Customs Committee, Azerbaijan’s
foreign trade has grown by 2.54% compared to January-May 2011.

In five months export of goods from the country was at $10,734,000,000
which is 1.43% higher compared to the same period of 2011. Import was
at #3,674,000,000 which is also 5.92% more than in January-May 2011.

Azerbaijan exported 1,414 types and imported 5,403 types of goods in
January-May. Surplus balance in trade made $7.06bn.

By results of 2011, Azerbaijan’s foreign trade made $36.326bn.
