In addition, Ohanyan met with the residents of the Region’s border
villages. It was stressed that the most recent incidents at the
frontlines came to prove yet again that no provocation from
Azerbaijan’s armed forces remains unanswered. Ohanyan added that
Armenia’s Armed Forces will conduct respective operations to prevent
the adversary’s inroads.

In the Minister’s words, it was owing to the balance of power and
Armenian military servicemen’s readiness and high spirit that the
adversary, which conducted diversion operations, withdrew while
suffering losses.

In Voskevan village, Armenia’s Defense Minister attended the official
opening of the plaque devoted to the fallen freedom fighters.

Also, Seyran Ohanyan visited the garrison hospital where the soldiers,
who were wounded as a result of the Azerbaijani diversion operations,
are being treated. The Minister wished quick recovery to the wounded
military servicemen.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
