ARMENIA’S CENTRAL BANK CHAIRMAN INTRODUCES BANK’S ACTIVITIES TO POLISH COUNTERPART

YEREVAN. – At the invitation of Armenia’s Central Bank (CB) Chairman
Arthur Javadyan, a delegation led by President Marek Belka of the
National Bank of Poland is in Armenia, and Javadyan met with the
delegation on Friday, CB Press Service informs.

Armenia’s CB Chairman highly assessed the cooperation between
both banks, and, subsequently, he briefed the Polish guests on the
peculiarities of Armenia’s financial system and the CB’s policy.

In his turn, Marek Belka highly appraised his contacts with CB Chairman
and the cooperation between the two banks. Also, he delivered a
presentation entitled “Poland and Euro.”

In addition, the delegation from the National Bank of Poland toured
the CB’s Visitors’ Center.
