YEREVAN, May 30. /ARKA/. The Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev
has discussed the issues related to development of mutual economic
cooperation with his Armenian counterpart Tigran Sargsyan at the
meeting of CIS head of governments in Ashkhabad.

“We have a traditional agenda, and I have an idea of what kind of
questions you will ask, but nevertheless, we can discuss any issues
related to development of economic and humanitarian ties between
Russia and Armenia,” Medvedev said at the meeting opening.

On his side, Sargsyan noted that Armenia attaches great importance
to progressing relations with Russia.

“Russia is our strategic ally and a number one economic partner,
Russian investments in our economy reach over 60%,” the Armenian Prime

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
