YEREVAN, MAY 16, ARMENPRESS: The presentation of ” Changing world. A
view from Yerevan” quarterly analytical magazine was launched on May
16. The magazine is aimed at voicing the key issues through alternative
approaches. Edgar Vardanyan Strategic and National Studies expert in
the magazine presented the article on May 6 elections by OSCE / ODI HR.

” OSCE /ODHIR is the largest and most prestigious office that
launches observation mission in the region” Vardnayan stated,
Armenpress reports.

Since 1996 OSCE /ODHIR has carried on both short-term and long-term
observations during the elections in Armenia. ” Our society considers
the elections mainly in the context of voting, whereas it is a
large-scale and serious procedure” the interlocutor dwelled on.

NGO head Armen Grigoryan’s article entitled as ” Democracy for
development” is also included in the magazine, where the new models
of the economic development were depicted. The article also identified
the problems of free market and global economic crisis.

The article authored by Saro Saroyan Strategic and National Studies
expert dwells on the revolutionary process taking place in Middle East
and North Africa, as well as socio-political and economic phenomena
dubbed as ” Arab Spring”.
