Possible war in Iran might lead to escalation of conflict between
Armenia and Azerbaijan – WNWI

Even if Azerbaijan is not a starting point for Israel to attack Iran,
a possible war in Iran might lead to the escalation of the old
conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan, US online radio station WNWI
reports.

`If another war was to break out between Armenia and Azerbaijan than
the South Caucasus region will become a battlefield for giants like
Russia, the USA and Iran,’ the report says.

It is stated in the report that official Moscow fears the possible
participation of Azerbaijan in military alliance with Israel and the
USA against Iran, and the fears are not without reason as Azerbaijan
is located in a geographically convenient region for organizing an
attack on Iran.

`Azerbaijani – Iranian relations could be better. Tehran has
repeatedly accused Baku of involvement in various terrorist attacks
and acts directed against Iran,’ the radio station announced.

According to the report, it should be noted that thanks to cooperation
with Israel, Azerbaijan became the first country of expenditure on
armaments in the world.
