Armenian parliamentary election results to be reported live

YEREVAN Armenia, May 4

Armenia’s Central Electoral Commission (CEC) said Friday that the
results of the parliamentary elections will be reported live.
At a press conference, CEC Chairman Tigran Mukuchyan said that the
commission will start reporting the results of the elections from
midnight Sunday and preliminary results are expected to be available
around 9:00 a.m. (0500 GMT) Monday.
Final official results will be announced Tuesday, Mukuchyan said.

All of the data announced on television or at frequent press
conferences also will simultaneously be available online on the
official web page of the Central Electoral Commission, he said.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
