ARMENIA’S AMBASSADOR BRIEFS UK LORD SPEAKER ON KARABAKH CONFLICT

YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Ambassador to the UK, Karine Ghazinyan, on
Tuesday met with Baroness Frances D’Souza, the Lord Speaker of the
British House of Lords.

During their first formal meeting, Ambassador Ghazinyan presented the
history of and current phase in the Armenian-British ties, and gave
general information on Armenia, the Karabakh conflict, and regional
developments, MFA informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Reflecting on the 20-year Armenian-British relations, Armenia’s
ambassador noted that there is great potential for developing relations
between the two countries, and expressed a hope that the political
dialogue and bilateral economic ties will increase in the future.

In her turn, Baroness D’Souza pledged the House of Lords’ and her
personal assistance in contributing, as much as possible, to the
future development of Armenian-British ties.
