ARMENIA’S UNIVERSITY OF ECONOMICS TO LAUNCH STATE REVENUE COMMITTEE CAREER-ORIENTED MASTER’S PROGRAM

YEREVAN, April 13. /ARKA/. Armenia’s State University of Economics
(ASUE) introduces new Master’s degree program for those who seek to
work in State Revenue Committee. The program will be available for
applying since September of this year, the rector of the university
Koryun Atoyan said on Friday.

ASUE rector Atoyan and State Revenue Committee head Gagik Khachatryan
opened Friday three specialized tax and customs auditoriums serving
for the Master’s program teaching.

“This program will be a good opportunity for our students, as the
best graduates will receive job positions in State Revenue Committee
of Armenia just upon their graduation,” he said.

On his side, Gagik Khachatryan said the Committee seeks for qualified
specialists and this Master’s program will aim for preparing those.

He also noted that 90 Master’s students will receive financing for
three majors, such as tax and customs administration, analytical
potential and skills.

“In the future, the majors may be changed depending on the requirements
of the Committee,” he said.

Khachatryan also said teaching/academic staff for the program will
be of the special focus, and the best work conditions will be provided.

The Committee currently builds in Dilijan the center for long-term
education for those seeking to work in Committee. The center will be
not only the best in the region, but also will meet all international
standards, he added.
