Voters in Armenia are mostly concerned with the issue of jobs (19.9%),
pensions (8.3%) and poverty (8.2%). Other issues of concern include
prices, wages, recognition of the Armenian Genocide, migration, youth
policy, corruption and relations with Russia. The study has been

In February under the “Election postman” program the “postmen” visited
70 settlement of the republic and asked citizens above 18 about the

The results of the study show that on the community level, people
are more concerned about the reconstruction of roads and sidewalks
(19.2%), places of entertainment (12.2%), fees for communal services
(11%). Voters are also worried about waste removal, water supply,

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
