Armenian Ambassador Invited Alexandrian Governor To Visit Armenia

ARMENIAN AMBASSADOR INVITED ALEXANDRIAN GOVERNOR TO VISIT ARMENIA

On March 21, 2012 Armenian Ambassador to Egypt Armen Melqonyan met
Alexandrian Governor Osama El-Fuli. Press and information department
of the RA MFA informs about this.

The sides discussed cooperation possibilities in various spheres
between Armenia and Egypt and rated the direct connections between
Armenia and Alexandria. Ambassador Melqonyan informed the Governor
about the events which will take place in Yerevan and are devoted
to the 500th anniversary of Armenian printing and to Yerevan World
Capital 2012. Armenian Ambassador invited the Governor to attend the
official opening ceremony.

Governor El-Fuli congratulated on announcing Yerevan as book capital
and reminded that Alexandria got the title on 2002. He also underlined
the special role of the Armenian Community in Alexandria in keeping
and developing the cultural character of the city.
