Armavia Says No Agreement Was Reached

ARMAVIA SAYS NO AGREEMENT WAS REACHED

20:00 . 13/03

The dispute between Armavia Air Company and Armenian International
Airports, which was continuing for days and which was put to discussion
at the General Department of Civil Aviation, develops strangely.

The department, which is a state body informed the public this evening
after the two-day-long talks that the problem was settled and that
everything would go on normally. But a little while later Armavia
stated no agreement was reached.

To note, the issues of reducing prices, redeeming the debt and granting
discounts to the national air carrier Armavia were under discussion
in the talks which had entered the second day.

Perhaps, other details will be clarified on this strange situation on
our air in the evening, at 10:00pm in the TV programme “The Country’s
Issue”. Artur Kirakosyan will host Acting Chief Commercial Officer
of Armavia Yana Muradkhanyan.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
