Nurmagomedov beats Voitechovskis in European Wrestling Championships

PanARMENIAN.Net – Hajimurat Nurmagomedov (84kg) scored a 9:2 win over
Edgaras Voitechovskis (Lithuania) in 1/16 final of the European
Wrestling Championships, ongoing in Belgrade.

In the 1/8 final Nurmagomedov will face off against Anzor Urishev (Russia).

Karine Shadoyan (72 kg) will clash with Katerina Burmistrova (Ukraine)
in the 1/8 final of the women’s championships.

David Safaryan (66kg) was the only Armenian participant who grabbed a
bronze medal on the first day of the Championships.
