Lilit Pipoyan: Armenia has always been country of men

Armenia has always been a country of men, singer Lilit Pipoyan told
reporters in Yerevan, dwelling on the role of women in Armenian
society.

However, according to her, we have come to understand that women
should be more active in public life, but to ensure women’s
participation in public life, we need a more developed country in
economic and political aspect.

According to singer Shushan Petrosyan, the insignificant role of women
has become common in Armenia.

Editor-in-chief of Hraparak daily Armine Ohanyan disagreed with the
opinion that women are not active in Armenia’s public life.

`All women are strong, therefore they can find their place in every
field,’ said Ohanyan.
