Pianist Hayk Melikyan Gets Prestigious Award In Orleans

PIANIST HAYK MELIKYAN GETS PRESTIGIOUS AWARD IN ORLEANS

Armenian pianist Hayk Melikyan was awarded the prestigious prize of
the 10th International Piano Competition which took place Orleans,
France, from February 23 to March 4.

This contest is the world’s most prestigious piano competition
dedicated to contemporary music. Representative of Armenia and
the popular pianist Hayk Melikyan in the final stage was awarded
the prestigious prize of Andre Boucourechliev prize for the best
performance on March 4.

Melikyan was named the best of 27 pianists after performing
Boucourechliev’s Orion III.
