AZERBAIJANI JOURNALISTS VISIT KHOJAVEND DISTRICT OF NAGORNO-KARABAKH

Bayram Safarov, Chairman of the Public Union “Azerbaijani Community
of the Nagorno-Karabakh Region of the Azerbaijani Republic”, visited
the Khojavend District of the Nagorno-Karabakh Region of Azerbaijan
on March 4, 1news.az reports.

Azerbaijani MPs Fuad Muradov and Rovshan Rzayev, as well as 17 members
of the Parliamentary Journalist Association, visited the area. They
were welcomed by the Executive Chief of the district Eyvaz Guseynov.

The guests visited the frontlines, laid flowers to 145 shekhids of
the Khojavend District, who died in early 1990s during occupation
by Armenia.

Flowers were laid at the memorial of Nargiz-tepe, about 1 km away
from the Armenian lines, and other nearby memorials of troops fighting
for territorial unity of Azerbaijan.
