ANKARA (A.A) -Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said
that the bill (criminalizing the denial of Armenian allegations)
which was adopted at French Parliament and Senate is completely null
and void for Turkey.

The bill is a discrimination, racism and a slaughter of freedom of
thought, said Erdogan who spoke at his Justice & Development (AK)
Party group meeting in Ankara on Tuesday [24 January].

Noting that this was a matter of discrimination and racism, Erdogan
said that Turkey would implement its sanctions on France step by step
and without a retreat.

We will share our action plan with public according to the course of
events, Erdogan said.

French Senate on Monday adopted a bill that criminalizes the denial
of Armenian allegations pertaining to the incidents of 1915.

The bill was adopted by a vote of 127 against 86.

With the adoption of the Armenian bill at the French Senate, the
denial of Armenian allegations regarding the incidents of 1915 would
be penalized with a prison term of one year and a monetary fine of
45,000 euros in France.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
