Goran Bregovic Visits Armenia For Charity Concert

YEREVAN, January 13 – On January 12 world famous musician Goran
Bregovic arrived in Yerevan on the invitation of regional development
and competition foundation `Century’ to take part in a charity event
aimed at providing assistance.

Goran Bregovic visited the Republic of Armenia for the second time.
His visit was organized by the benefactor Levon Arahamyan. The
musician not only visited charitable concert but also presented $
3,000 from his own account.

Being one of the most internationally known modern musicians and
composers of the Balkans, Bregovic has composed for such varied
artists as Iggy Pop and Cesaria Evora. Among the best known scores are
Emir Kusturica’s films (Time of the Gypsies, Arizona Dream,
Underground).
