NO MEETING OF ARMENIAN AND TURKISH DIPLOMATS EXPECTED IN FRANCE

No meeting of Armenian and Turkish diplomats is expected before the
discussion of the bill penalizing the denial of the Armenian Genocide
at the France’s Senate, diplomatic sources told Armenpress. “The
information disseminated by the Turkish media does not correspond to
reality,” the source added.

January 11 Turkish Hurriyet reported as if before the discussion of
the bill Armenia’s ambassador Vigen Chitechyan and Turkish ambassador
were to meet with the socialist members of the French Senate.
