GOOD PERSPECTIVES EXIST FOR THE GROWTH OF COMMODITY TURNOVER BETWEEN ARMENIA AND LEBANON

Armenian Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan received Lebanon’s Minister
of Industry Vrezh Sabunjyan and Minister of Tourism Fadi Abboud.

The Armenian community of Lebanon is one of the most full-fledged
ones, and counts about 140 thousand. This factor exerts an influence
on the Armenian-Lebanese cooperation.

Although the statistics of commodity turnover shows that the volume
of imports and exports is not that large, all prerequisites exist
for the expansion of economic cooperation.

Direct flights between the two countries may be operated in the near
future. This will create more favorable conditions for the development
of tourism and the growth of commodity turnover.
