Armenian Culture Minister to be dismissed? – newspaper

YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Minister of Culture, Hasmik Poghosyan, will soon
be dismissed, Zhoghovurd daily writes, referring to its sources.

`There are rumors that Public Radio’s director Armen Amiryan will be
appointed Armenian Minister of Culture, but he laughingly said: `I
have not received such proposal, [and] I do not intend to go there,
even they had suggested me to go.’ To our observation as to why he has
not accepted the proposal to be appointed minister, Amiryan responded:
`I practicably work at the Radio, and I am very happy with my work.’
To note, the changing of this minister is frequently spoken about, but
she still remains,’ Zhoghovurd writes.
