US VICE PRESIDENT PRESSURES TURKEY TO NORMALIZE ARMENIAN-TURKISH RELATIONS

The Turkish press claims that, during his visit to Turkey, US Vice
President Joe Biden pressured Ankara to normalize Armenian-Turkish
relations.

During his meetings with Turkey~Rs president, PM, and parliament
speaker, Biden brought onto the agenda the Armenian-Turkish protocols,
toward normalizing relations, which were signed in 2009, Ensonhaber
website notes, referring to a senior official from the White House.

The Turkish website also recalls that, while at the US Senate, Joe
Biden always supported bills recognizing the Armenian Genocide.
