ARMENIA’S LONG TERM ECONOMIC POLICY

As Armenia’s PM Tigran Sargsyan stated on December 2 his country
should elaborate a new economic program which will cover the period
up to 2020. The priorities and action plans should be clearly outlined.

According to the PM, Armenia has elaborated a sustainable development
program, however it was influenced by the results of the world economic
crisis and therefore needs adjustment. According to the World Bank,
for the last 20 years the Armenian economy is slowly developing and
its government has to take certain new steps as well.
