Baku negative on Armenians’ refusal to meet Azerbaijani community of Karabakh

We negatively assess Armenians’ denial from attending a meeting of
Azerbaijani and Armenian Nagorno-Karabakh communities in Berlin.

The statement came from Member of the Azerbaijani Parliament Bahar
Muradova.

She noted that the initiative of this meeting belongs to Azerbaijan and
this very country advanced this issue at the autumn session of OSCE PA

.”This initiative was supported by different international
organizations but Armenia’s denial to participate at the meeting was
expectable. They claim that this meeting will give negative result
to them. But Azerbaijan always respected its citizens regardless
of nationality and considers it appropriate to gather them together
and discuss future plans and coexistence of thee communities in the
Nagorno-Karabakh. Unfortunately, Armenians rejected this meeting but
such attempts should be continued,” Muradova said.
