ARMEN ASHOTYAN HOSTED BY CATHOLICOS OF CILICIA ARAM I

Within the framework of state visit to Lebanon Minister of Education
and Science Armen Ashotyan was hosted today by Catholicos of Cilicia
Aram I. Press service of the ministry told Armenpress that welcoming
the visit of the minister to Lebanon the Patriarch wished him success
and presented the issues of Armenian educational establishments in
the country, the implemented programs.

Minister Ashotyan presented to the Catholicos the goal of the visit,
informed about reforms ongoing in Armenia’s education sphere and
expressed readiness to assist in the solution of the issues of the
Armenian educational establishments and their development programs.

During the meeting issues on training of Diaspora teachers, creation
of new educational literature were discussed.
