KARABAKH PRESIDENT VISITS WESTERN PRELACY OF GREAT HOUSE OF CILICIA IN US

On 22 November President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan visited
Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church’s Great House of Cilicia and
met prelate of the Western Diocese Archbishop Moushegh Martirosyan,
members of the diocese’s central executive and religious councils,
representatives of local Armenian community.

Issues related to life in the NKR and the Artsakh-Diaspora relations
were discussed during the meeting. The President rated high the role
played by the Great House of Cilicia in preserving Armenian national
identity in the Diaspora and expressed gratitude to the representatives
of the Armenian community for continuous support shown to Artsakh.

Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church
Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, consular general of the Republic
of Armenia in Los Angeles Grigor Hovhannisyan, head of the central
information department of the office of the Artsakh Republic President
David Babayan, NKR permanent representative to USA and Canada Robert
Avetisyan and other officials partook at the meeting.
