Judge Suspends Launch of Slander Suit Against 168 Zham

Today, Judge Melkumyan of theKentron and Nork-Marash District Court
suspended the examination of a slander suit brought by Sousanna
Nazaryan, former Principal of Etchmiadzin’s Senior School #2.

Nazaryan is filing slander charges against the 168 Zham newspaper and
its reporter Marine Martirosyan.

Defense attorney A. Hakobyan motioned the court to suspend the hearing
until the close of a criminal case now underway based on the
publications of the same reporter and paper.

Judge Melkumyan sustained the motion and halted a launch of the
slander suit until the completion of the preliminary hearing of the
criminal case.
