November 19, 2011 – 16:34 AMT

PanARMENIAN.Net – Armenia voted against the anti-Iran resolution,
adopted by UN General Assembly.

The resolution, initiated by Saudi Arabia, was adopted by 106 votes,
with 40 countries to abstain.

Armenia along with Bolivia, Cuba, North Korea, Ecuador, Nicaragua,
Venezuela and Zambia voted against the resolution.

President of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had prior stated that
accusations against the Iranian authorities for an attempt to
assassinate the Saudi ambassador to the United States were initiated
by Washington.

Two Iranians were accused of murdering the Saudi ambassador to the
United States on November 11. One of them U.S. citizen Manssor
Arbabsiar allegedly admitted that he had acted under the guidance of
high-level Iranian officials.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
